About us

Kanzen is an AI consultancy that helps small businesses understand and implement automation and AI strategy.

We work with both technical and non-technical owners, help managers bring new tools into their day-to-day operations, and help teams make better use of their time. We've shipped more than 20 systems so far, mostly for clients in real estate: phone agents, operations dashboards, and the automations behind them.

Why: for owners who don't live in technology, it can be hard to see what automation could do for their business. We make the value concrete: we find the busywork, build the fix, and show the time it gives back.

Edward Ross

Founder, Kanzen

I majored in finance at Butler University and graduated in 2025. During my final semester, I studied at the University of Sydney and worked as an AI research intern at its Business School. Learning from current and former MBA students there sparked a real interest in Applied AI , and I decided to step off the traditional finance path and launch my own consulting practice.

With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for problem solving, I bring the ability to work with people at every level of technical comfort and build bespoke solutions that make their businesses run more efficiently.

How it works

Most projects follow this rough shape, adjusted to fit how your business actually runs.

01

Learn

Sit with your team and map the day to day: the tools, the people, the work that repeats every week.

02

Find

Pick the busywork worth automating first, starting where it saves the most time.

03

Build

Ship it on the tools the business already uses, tested against real work before anyone relies on it.

04

Hand off

Documentation and training, so the team runs it day to day. We stay on call to maintain and improve.

Built to be handed off

Every system ships with documentation, so your team can run it on their own.

People approve what matters

AI drafts and flags. Anything that sends money, signs a contract, or reaches a customer gets a human yes first.

Your tools, your data

Built on the software the business already uses, in accounts the owner controls. Nothing is locked in.

Our work in action

Running the back office of a multi-location real estate business.

Leasing, renewals, and a steady stream of calls ran on spreadsheets and manual follow-up, with no single view of the business.

Phone agent

Answers calls around the clock, from leasing questions to tenant requests. Handles 200+ calls a month and hands off to staff when needed.

Operations dashboard

Occupancy, rent, renewals, and collections for every location in one live view, synced daily from multiple sources and cross-checked for accuracy.

Lead pipeline

New leads from ads land in the CRM automatically, routed to the right location with a follow-up already scheduled.

Lease renewals

Renewal paperwork is drafted and sent for e-signature automatically, with staff approving each one.

Collections follow-up

Late balances are flagged and followed up on a schedule, so nothing depends on memory.

Team assistant

An internal assistant the staff can ask about the numbers in plain English.
